Loretta Fabel
LCSW-R
Loretta graduated from New York University with an Master’s Degree in Social Work and has over 35 years of social work experience in the healthcare field, the majority of which was at Westchester Medical Center.
She has had vast experience working with patients and families on oncology, medicine, transplant units and outpatient mental health. Loretta was the Social Work Department Manager for many years, had served on many committees and retired 8 years ago. Shortly, thereafter, she returned to Westchester Medical Center where she was instrumental in developing programs for the hospital’s new Care Giver Center including training and supervision of Caregiver Volunteers and counseled, supported and advocated for the family members of hospitalized patients. Loretta’s additional experience includes homecare consultation and private practice.
Loretta is a life-long resident of Westchester County, is married, has three children, and six grandchildren. She loves to read, travel and socialize with friends.
