Karen Hoffman

Karen Hoffman joined MAC Angels in May 2023.
Karen recently served as a palliative care social worker for Prospero Health, where she received Prospero's LOVE Award in 2022. She has also managed an intergenerational social day care program for adults with cognitive challenges at Family Services of Westchester in Purchase NY and created, developed and managed a palliative care community program for Phelps Hospital's hospice program in Sleepy Hollow NY that served more than 170 patients over three years.
Karen has also served as a social worker and educator at the kidney care program at Montefiore Medical Center, The Bronx NY, as a social worker with the Visiting Nurse Service of Westchester and as a geratric community case manager at Sound Shore Medical Center, New Rochelle, NY, where she developed and implemented a case management program for area seniors. Karen received her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University, and a bachelors of arts degree in psychology from Drew University. Karen and her family reside in Ardsley, NY.
